L&T is hiring a GenAI Trainee for the DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC at the L&T Innovation Campus in Powai. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, preprocess, and validate structured and unstructured datasets for AI projects.
• Assist with training, testing, validation, benchmarking, tuning, and optimization of machine learning and deep learning models.
• Support model deployment and monitoring in development and production environments.
• Work on Large Language Model and multimodal AI applications.
• Assist with prompt engineering, prompt optimization, response evaluation, RAG, fine-tuning, and model customization.
• Help develop and test AI chatbots, virtual assistants, and content generation solutions.
• Evaluate AI outputs for quality, factual accuracy, safety, and Responsible AI requirements.
• Assist with integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications through APIs and frameworks.
• Support computer vision solutions for image and video analytics, including object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, and OCR.
• Prepare image and video datasets through annotation, labeling, augmentation, and preprocessing.
• Assist with vision model training, evaluation, deployment, and optimization for edge, cloud, and real-time applications.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and create visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
• Support data pipelines and workflows while maintaining data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Assist in developing APIs, microservices, and cloud-based AI solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, Agile activities, and technical discussions.
• Contribute to proof-of-concept development, technology evaluations, hackathons, and innovation initiatives.
• Prepare model, dataset, training, evaluation, deployment, and project documentation.
• Follow cybersecurity, privacy, ethical AI, Responsible AI, and applicable organizational standards.
