Job Overview

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Engineering and QA team in Bengaluru. This onsite position is ideal for experienced DevOps professionals who have a strong background in infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Linux administration, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and maintaining highly available production environments while improving platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable infrastructure for enterprise applications.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and production environments.
• Improve observability, monitoring, logging, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance deployment automation and platform security.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical initiatives.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, Linux administration, Kubernetes, automation, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, system reliability, and production operations.

Preferred Skills

Experience with hybrid cloud environments, monitoring platforms, observability tools, virtualization technologies, security best practices, and distributed systems.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience

Candidates should have 8 or more years of relevant DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience.
