Job Overview

Cognizant is hiring an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for its Technology and Engineering team. This hybrid opportunity is suitable for professionals with 5 to 8 years of experience in Java, Angular, and SQL who enjoy building enterprise-grade web applications. You will work across frontend and backend development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to modern software delivery practices including the use of Generative AI where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise full stack applications.
• Build backend services using Java and develop responsive user interfaces using Angular.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and database operations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and product owners.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, implementation, and deployment.
• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable application components.
• Perform code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Apply Generative AI tools where appropriate to improve software delivery.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
