Job Overview

Qualcomm India is hiring a CAD/EDA Methodology Engineer for Bangalore. This full-time onsite role focuses on developing and maintaining automation tools for ASIC front-end design flows, improving EDA methodologies, building software utilities using Python, Perl and C++, troubleshooting CAD frameworks, supporting engineering teams, documenting solutions, and exploring AI/ML techniques to improve engineering productivity. Candidates will collaborate with hardware and CAD teams, analyze workflow requirements, develop scalable automation, validate engineering tools, and improve design efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation tools for ASIC front-end design flows.
  • Improve EDA methodologies and engineering workflows.
  • Build software utilities using Python, Perl, and C++.
  • Troubleshoot CAD frameworks and resolve engineering issues.
  • Support hardware and CAD engineering teams.
