Job Overview Kyndryl is seeking an AI Data Engineer to build enterprise-grade AI data platforms that power intelligent business applications. This full-time hybrid opportunity is available across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Chennai, and Pune. You will design secure, scalable, and AI-ready data pipelines that support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), semantic search, and enterprise AI agents. Working with operational data from platforms such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, Confluence, Git, and monitoring systems, you will help transform raw information into trusted, governed, and searchable knowledge for modern AI solutions. Key Responsibilities - Build batch and real-time ingestion pipelines. - Design AI-ready data models and metadata strategies. - Develop RAG architectures including chunking, embeddings, indexing, and re-ranking. - Create vector search and knowledge graph solutions. - Integrate enterprise platforms and AI retrieval APIs. - Maintain data quality, lineage, governance, auditability, and security. - Evaluate retrieval performance and continuously improve AI data quality. Required Skills Strong experience in Python, SQL, ETL/ELT, data modeling, enterprise integration, AI data engineering, RAG, semantic search, vector databases, and cloud data platforms. Preferred Skills Master's degree, relevant certifications, ITSM experience, and expertise with enterprise AI frameworks. Education Bachelor's degree is expected. A Master's degree and relevant certifications are preferred. Experience Minimum 5 years in data engineering or platform development with at least 2 years supporting GenAI, RAG, search, or semantic AI products.
