Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Storage Systems Engineer in Bengaluru for its High Performance Computing, AI and Labs organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain core components of distributed storage systems supporting HPC and AI workloads.
  • Work on storage data paths, metadata services, protocols, and management components.
  • Develop scalable storage capabilities with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and system availability.
  • Investigate complex system-level problems involving software, firmware, hardware, storage, and networking components.

Required Skills

Strong C and C++ programming experience is required, with Python considered an additional advantage. Candidates should be comfortable with Linux or Unix environments and system-level software development.

A solid understanding of distributed systems and parallel computing is important because the role involves storage platforms designed to handle large-scale and data-intensive workloads. Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and high-speed interconnects, is also expected.
