Job Overview

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE/DevOps) for its Engineering and QA team in Bengaluru. This onsite role is designed for experienced cloud and DevOps professionals who can build, automate, secure, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure. You will work on highly available production environments, develop automation solutions, implement Infrastructure as Code, and improve platform reliability across modern cloud ecosystems. The position offers an opportunity to work with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using industry best practices.
• Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain production cloud environments.
• Develop DevOps automation tools using APIs and scripting languages.
• Secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on platform reliability and operational excellence.
• Evaluate and implement modern cloud technologies and open-source tools.

Required Skills

Strong experience with cloud architecture, DevOps, automation, Linux administration, infrastructure management, scripting, version control, and cloud security.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Kubernetes, Mesos, Jenkins, Groovy, backend or full-stack development, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Candidates should have:

• At least 10 years of programming experience.
• Over 5 years of automation experience.
• A minimum of 2 years managing public cloud infrastructure.
