Job Overview Deloitte is hiring a Senior Consultant – Java Spring Boot Full Stack for its Engineering Platform Development team in Bengaluru. This full-time opportunity is suitable for experienced software engineers with 7–10 years of experience building cloud-native enterprise applications. The role focuses on designing scalable microservices, developing AI-enabled business solutions, implementing event-driven architectures, and delivering secure, high-performance SaaS platforms. As a senior engineering professional, you will work across the complete software development lifecycle, from solution design and architecture to development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with architects, product managers, QA teams, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and Microservices. - Build cloud-native SaaS platforms with scalability, resilience, and security. - Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. - Develop event-driven systems using Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ. - Build AI-powered applications using Spring AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), OpenAI APIs, Pinecone, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). - Integrate enterprise systems and third-party APIs. - Deploy and manage applications on AWS using Kubernetes and Docker. - Build CI/CD pipelines and improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and platform reliability. - Optimize databases, caching strategies, and application performance. - Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito while following TDD and BDD practices. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, mentoring, production support, and continuous platform enhancement. Required Skills Candidates should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, Microservices, REST APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, Git, CI/CD, AI engineering, and enterprise software architecture.
