Job Overview Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant (Senior Golang Developer) to join its Technology & Transformation Engineering team in Pune. This hybrid full-time opportunity is designed for experienced backend engineers who have strong expertise in Golang, cloud-native application development, AWS services, and GraphDB technologies. You will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. In this role, you will participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will be expected to build modern backend services, follow engineering best practices, and contribute to cloud-native architectures that support business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang. - Build secure cloud-native applications using AWS services. - Develop and maintain GraphDB and RDF-based solutions. - Create serverless applications using AWS Lambda. - Design and expose APIs through API Gateway. - Develop event-driven architectures using SNS and SQS. - Work with DynamoDB to build efficient NoSQL data models. - Monitor applications using CloudWatch and troubleshoot production issues. - Implement Infrastructure as Code and serverless deployment practices. - Write maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code. - Develop unit and integration tests to improve software quality. - Participate in code reviews and design discussions. - Follow engineering standards, quality processes, and Agile delivery practices. Required Skills Strong experience in Golang, GraphDB, RDF technologies, AWS cloud services, backend engineering, API development, serverless computing, Infrastructure as Code, testing, and cloud-native application development. Preferred Skills Knowledge of scalable distributed systems, monitoring, event-driven architecture, software quality practices, and secure cloud application development is advantageous. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc., or a related discipline. Experience Candidates should possess 5 to 7 years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on exposure to Golang and AWS.
