Job Overview

Deloitte is seeking an Applied AI Full Stack Developer (AWS) - Software Specialist Engineer II to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale AI-powered software products. This full-time opportunity is suited for experienced software engineers with strong expertise in modern full-stack development, cloud-native engineering, and Generative AI technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional product teams to build scalable applications from concept through production while maintaining high engineering standards and focusing on business value.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications.
  • Build AI-enabled solutions using modern Large Language Models, retrieval-augmented generation, and intelligent agents.
  • Develop scalable cloud-native applications on AWS and related AI services.
  • Work with product managers, designers, and engineering teams throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Implement secure, maintainable, and high-quality code following modern engineering practices.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize application performance, cloud utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Support production systems and contribute to technical documentation.


Required Skills

Strong experience in full-stack development, AI application development, cloud engineering, software architecture, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, DevSecOps, and modern SDLC practices.


Preferred Skills

Experience with AI orchestration frameworks, vector databases, prompt engineering, cloud AI platforms, Infrastructure as Code, cost optimization, product engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.


Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, including at least 3 years building AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
