Deloitte is hiring a GenAI Software Engineer III for its Enterprise Performance team, supporting technology-led transformation across supply chain and product development environments. This role is suited to an experienced software engineering professional who can combine enterprise application development, product lifecycle management knowledge, generative AI, and cloud technologies to build practical business solutions.

The position focuses on designing and deploying agentic AI and generative AI solutions for product development and supply chain use cases. You will work with large language models, multi-agent workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, structured and unstructured enterprise data, and PLM platforms. The role also involves translating functional requirements into scalable technical designs, validating solution outputs, and collaborating with functional and technical teams.

The opportunity is available in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai. Shift timings are listed as 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST, depending on business requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy generative AI and agentic AI solutions for product development and enterprise use cases.
  • Build LLM-powered agents and multi-agent workflows for practical business applications.
  • Develop retrieval-augmented generation solutions using structured and unstructured supply chain, engineering, and product information.
  • Configure and extend PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, or SAP PLM.
  • Develop workflows, data models, and integrations within enterprise product lifecycle environments.
  • Connect AI solutions with enterprise applications and cloud environments.
  • Work with AWS and Microsoft Azure services to support AI and machine learning workloads.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable solution designs.
  • Validate AI solution outputs and measure performance using defined operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with onsite, offshore, functional, and technical teams to support successful delivery.
  • Contribute to high-quality work products and complete assigned engineering activities within expected timelines.
  • Mentor or guide junior team members when required.
  • Support product development initiatives within the Enterprise Performance and Supply Chain Network Operations environment.


Required Skills

Candidates should have 6 to 9 years of experience across software engineering, enterprise application development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or product lifecycle management. At least 3 years of PLM design and development experience is required, using platforms such as Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, SAP PLM, or a comparable system.

The role also requires at least 2 years of experience developing LLM-driven agents and multi-agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable frameworks. Practical experience building RAG solutions from structured and unstructured supply chain, engineering, or product data is important.

Strong Python programming experience in production-grade application development is required. Candidates should also understand generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation.

A solid understanding of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures is expected. Experience with containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes, is also relevant. Candidates should be familiar with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.


Preferred Skills

Experience with vector databases, graph databases, and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure is preferred. Knowledge of AI and machine learning services on these cloud platforms can further strengthen the profile.

Additional experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or Manhattan is useful. Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Delta Lake, or PySpark is also preferred for data-intensive solutions.

Candidates who have integrated OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cohere models with cloud services may have relevant additional experience. Knowledge of electronic data interchange formats and processes, including EDI, X12, EDIFACT, customs classification, or trade compliance, is another advantage.

Experience with multi-echelon inventory optimization, network optimization, production scheduling, constraint-based planning, regulated industries, responsible AI, or explainability can also be valuable.


Education

The position requires a BE, BTech, MCA, MSc in Computer Science, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.

The required overall experience range is 6 to 9 years. Within that experience, candidates should have at least 3 years in PLM design and development and at least 2 years building LLM-based agents and multi-agent workflows. Production-grade Python development experience is also required.
