Job Overview Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Lead Architect - AI Automation to lead enterprise test automation initiatives in Pune. This onsite full-time role is designed for professionals with 15 to 25 years of experience in software quality engineering, automation architecture, and AI-enabled testing. The successful candidate will define automation strategies, build scalable frameworks using Playwright and Selenium, integrate AI-powered testing capabilities, and mentor engineering teams. Responsibilities include developing automation frameworks, collaborating with development teams, implementing AI agent integration, prompt engineering, improving software quality, supporting Agile delivery, and driving continuous improvement. Candidates should possess strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, automation framework architecture, AI-assisted testing, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and excellent communication skills. Experience with Appium, TestComplete, QTP, Java, Python, C#, CI/CD, JMeter, LoadRunner, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, SoapUI, Git, SQL, and database testing is desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required, while a Master's degree or certifications are advantageous.
