- Apply lightweight processing technologies such as Polars and DuckDB when appropriate.
- Develop and support Skywise applications using Workshop, Slate, Object Explorer, and Foundry Ontology.
- Mentor developers and promote clean, robust, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with European customers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical solutions.
- Act as a technical bridge between business needs and Big Data implementation.
- Contribute to Agile delivery, technical decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support delivery quality, performance optimization, customer satisfaction, and timely completion of milestones.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on Big Data engineering experience is essential. Candidates should be proficient with Apache Spark, PySpark, and Spark SQL, with PySpark specifically identified as mandatory. Strong Python programming ability is also required.
The role requires substantial experience with the Palantir Skywise ecosystem. Candidates should have hands-on Skywise development experience and familiarity with Workshop, Slate, Object Explorer, and Foundry Ontology.
