Job Overview

Accenture is hiring a Custom Software Engineer for its Software Product and Platform Engineering team in Hyderabad. This full-time opportunity is ideal for experienced software engineers with strong expertise in Python, cloud-native development, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.

As a Lead Software Engineer within the Productivity Engineering team, you will design, develop, and optimize DevOps platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI-assisted software development workflows, and CI/CD capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software faster. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical initiatives, improve developer productivity, and contribute to enterprise engineering platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain shared DevOps platform services.
Build and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines.
Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions for cloud environments.
Integrate AI-powered SDLC tools into developer workflows.
Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
Monitor platform health, performance, and engineering metrics.
Lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and improve code quality.
Collaborate across Agile teams to deliver scalable engineering platforms.
Support production DevOps infrastructure and participate in on-call activities.
Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engineering standards.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in Python programming, cloud computing, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or Azure, Linux, Windows administration, secure software delivery, Agile methodologies, and cloud automation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with React.js, Java, .NET, Go, Terraform, Ansible, DevSecOps, AI developer tools, Copilots, MCP, A2A, CNCF technologies, DORA metrics, SPACE framework, and engineering analytics.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Leadership or architecture experience is preferred.
