Job Overview

Red Hat is hiring Software Engineering Interns for its engineering teams in Pune and Bangalore. Interns will participate in day-to-day engineering work, collaborate with experienced team members, and work with a senior mentor to build technical knowledge and practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with wider engineering teams and departments including Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Documentation throughout the product cycle.
• Participate in multiple engineering projects and apply knowledge gained through technical learning and curriculum activities.
• Build professional connections with other interns and contribute as part of a broader local and international team.

Required Skills and Eligibility

• Currently pursuing the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of software engineering and willingness to use Python, Golang, or a similar programming language.
• Curiosity and interest in understanding how software and systems work internally.
• Willingness to learn and proactively contribute as part of a wider team.
