Infineon is seeking a PLM Solution Architect for a permanent, onsite professional role based in Ahmedabad. Key Responsibilities

• Own the solution architecture, roadmap, standards, and implementation approach for PTC Windchill, ensuring alignment with business and enterprise objectives.
• Collect and assess business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable PLM designs.
• Design and configure Windchill capabilities for product data, CAD management, workflows, lifecycles, roles, teams, and access controls.
• Guide custom development, technical reviews, governance, and implementation practices for Windchill solutions.
• Plan and architect integrations between Windchill and systems such as ERP, ALM, document management platforms, portals, and middleware.
• Lead cloud migration, platform upgrades, data migration, and modernization of legacy systems.
• Support digital engineering solutions, including dashboards, portals, and connected experiences.
• Establish and improve DevOps, CI/CD, automation, release management, and deployment processes.
• Mentor developers, architects, and project teams, and help maintain delivery quality and technical standards.
• Work with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT teams to guide architecture decisions and encourage solution adoption.
• Contribute to pre-sales work, including solution design, effort estimates, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Maintain architecture documentation, interface specifications, deployment guidance, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Promote quality assurance, continuous improvement, training, and sound operational practices.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Enterprise PLM architecture: Extensive experience designing enterprise PLM architectures and delivering large-scale PTC Windchill implementations.
• PTC Windchill: Strong knowledge of configuration and customization, workflows, lifecycles, object models, access control, teams, groups, and product and document management.
• Application development: Practical experience with Java/J2EE, REST APIs, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, scripting, databases, and reporting technologies.
• Enterprise integration: Experience designing and implementing integrations across PLM, ERP, ALM, CAD, IoT, document management, portals, and middleware platforms.
• Modernization and cloud: Understanding of cloud migration, microservices, platform upgrades, de-customization, data migration, and legacy modernization.
• Delivery and operations: Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, source control, release management, automated testing, and environment governance.
• Architecture communication: Ability to prepare and present solution architectures, interface designs, data flows, technical roadmaps, and proof-of-concept work.
• Technical leadership: Skills in mentoring, solution reviews, issue resolution, and taking ownership of delivery outcomes.
• Consulting and stakeholder engagement: Customer-facing experience with workshops, demonstrations, pre-sales support, RFP responses, and technical presentations.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to connected product and digital engineering solutions is preferred. Certifications in areas such as PMP, TOGAF, PTC, cloud, or Agile are an added advantage, but the posting does not identify any certification as mandatory.
