Job Overview Birlasoft is seeking an experienced IoT Engineer to develop scalable end-to-end Internet of Things solutions across multiple locations including Chennai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. This full-time onsite role is intended for professionals with 4 to 6 years of experience in IoT architecture, cloud platforms, edge computing, industrial connectivity, backend development, DevOps, and enterprise integrations. Key Responsibilities - Design complete IoT architectures covering devices, gateways, edge processing, cloud ingestion, storage, and visualization. - Develop edge applications and integrate industrial devices. - Build scalable cloud backends using Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, or equivalent platforms. - Create REST APIs and WebSocket integrations. - Build real-time and batch data pipelines. - Integrate IoT platforms with MES, ERP, CMMS, and analytics systems. - Implement IoT security, authentication, encryption, and compliance. - Deploy and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor production environments and resolve issues across device, network, and cloud layers. - Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical documentation. Required Skills Strong experience with IoT platforms, industrial protocols, cloud services, backend development, databases, DevOps, security, and scalable distributed systems. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Digital Twin, AI/ML, Three.js, offline-first applications, telemetry analytics, and cloud certifications. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience 4 to 6 years of hands-on IoT engineering experience.
