Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Solutions Architect for its India Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) team, based in Delhi. The role combines technical architecture, customer engagement, and advisory work to help large brands and customers plan and implement cloud solutions.

You will work with customer and partner teams to understand business goals, discuss technical approaches, and design scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures using AWS and emerging technology domains. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key technical contact for the Retail/CPG account team, supporting customers as they build applications and services on AWS.
• Define the scope of customer engagements, including clear objectives and measurable success criteria.
• Lead technical engagements and help keep implementation efforts focused on successful, timely delivery of customer value. Delivery of the actual solutions is handled by AWS partners.
• Discuss technical solutions with customer teams, explore detailed design considerations, and provide guidance on cloud architecture.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, engaging stakeholders ranging from software developers and architects to senior executives.
• Help customers understand AWS capabilities and accelerate adoption of relevant services.
• Share practical knowledge and best practices with the wider Solutions Architect community.
• Contribute to community education through activities such as technical presentations, workshops, white papers, and blog content.
• Gather customer feedback and collaborate with AWS engineering and service teams to help inform product and service direction.
• Develop understanding of AWS market segments, customer needs, and industry verticals, with particular attention to Retail and CPG.

Technical Focus

The role involves advising on cloud journeys and emerging technology domains, including Generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, and microservices architectures and integration approaches. Basic Qualifications

• Experience with at least one of these programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), and operating systems such as Unix, Linux, or Windows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution.
• Experience in one or more of these areas: cloud architecture, systems design, software development, infrastructure architecture, data engineering, or DevOps.

Work Mode & Location
