Job Overview

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking an MLOps Engineer to join its Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence PSL in the Bangalore Area. This entry-level opportunity is designed for candidates with 0–2 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, DevOps, MLOps, and cloud technologies.

The role sits within a high-growth AI team and focuses on developing, maintaining, and scaling a centralized ModelOps platform. The engineer will work across software engineering, DevOps, and machine learning operations to support robust AI infrastructure and independently deliver feature enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance serverless microservices and REST APIs for model inference and platform operations.
• Support high availability, reliability, and smooth day-to-day operation of the ModelOps platform.
• Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Use infrastructure-as-code practices to automate deployment workflows and implement checks intended to reduce operational downtime.
• Support MLOps and model management activities across the lifecycle of machine learning and generative AI models.
• Use native AWS AI and ML platforms to deploy, monitor, and manage models.
• Set up basic observability for model drift, inference latency, and performance metrics.
• Work with senior engineers to enhance the centralized ModelOps platform and develop deployment pipelines for traditional machine learning and generative AI models.
• Explore modern machine learning services, automate operational workflows, and build serverless internal tooling.

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Basic knowledge of Vue.js or a similar modern JavaScript framework.
• Understanding of core AWS services, including Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, IAM, ECS, and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
• Practical experience creating and managing Docker containers.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and AWS DynamoDB.

Education

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is required.
