Senior Java FullStack Engineer (Java, ReactJS, Microservices) at EPAM Systems | Hyderabad

Responsibilities

• Anticipated 70% time dedicated to Java backend development + 30% time dedicated to Front-development
• Changes to Java backend to support the migration of Front end and added capabilities
• Assist the migration of user interface components from Java Swing, which includes Java Backend development ensuring consistency, functionality, and performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Engage with our financial services client to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into the development process
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the migrated components to ensure they meet functional and performance criteria
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize the application for speed and responsiveness
• Maintain detailed documentation of the development process, including migration plans, technical specifications, and user guides

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in backend Java, PLUS (either React or Angular) development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Proficiency in backend Java, PLUS any of the following (REACT or Angular) TypeScript; experience with RESTful APIs
• Proven experience in migrating applications from Java Swing or similar technologies to modern JavaScript frameworks is highly desirable
• Financial Services Knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere
