Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy machine learning, Generative AI, and AI-driven applications based on business requirements.
• Develop and integrate LLM-based solutions using prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI APIs.
• Build reusable Python-based components, APIs, and services for AI and machine learning applications.
• Perform data preparation, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Work with cloud-based AI and data services, with preference for Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and external data sources into AI solutions.
• Implement responsible AI practices covering security, data privacy, model governance, explainability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot model, application, and integration issues while improving solution accuracy, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Stay current with emerging AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, machine learning frameworks, and industry best practices, and contribute to AI innovation initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong practical understanding of Python for developing reusable AI and machine learning components, APIs, and services.
• Experience or knowledge of Machine Learning application development, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, optimization, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Understanding of REST API integration and working with databases and external data sources.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI and data services, particularly Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of responsible AI considerations such as security, data privacy, governance, explainability, and monitoring.
