Job Overview

Jio is hiring a Graduate Engineer Trainee for its Mumbai location. This is a fresher opportunity focused on telecom core network operations, architecture support, service monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and network rollout activities.

The role provides an opportunity to work with core network functions supporting 4G, 3G, and 2G capabilities. The trainee will support engineering and operations activities while coordinating with device, product, RAN, and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and development of core network architecture.
Coordinate with device and product teams to develop requirements supporting 4G, 3G, and roaming capabilities.
Assist with 4G, 3G, and 2G core network operations.
Monitor core network KPIs and service parameters.
Support subscriber provisioning flows.
Validate authentication and charging systems.
Assist with interconnect and roaming testing activities.
Analyze call flows and signalling-related issues.
Troubleshoot core network alarms and outages.
Document network configurations and changes.
Coordinate activities with RAN and transport teams.
Support network upgrades and new node rollout activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of 4G, 3G, and 2G networks.
Basic understanding of signalling protocols.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret network KPIs and service parameters.
Basic knowledge of IP networking.
Familiarity with telecom standards.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
