Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and operations teams in building, automating, and improving software delivery processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines that support reliable application deployment from development through production.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure operations under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools.
• Participate in troubleshooting application, platform, and cloud-environment issues.
• Work with engineering teams to improve deployment, testing, automation, and operational workflows.
• Learn and apply practices related to cloud security, reliability, scalability, and incident response.
• Develop or contribute to scripts, tools, and automation that improve engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators supporting production services.
• Continuously develop knowledge of cloud, DevOps, and site reliability engineering practices.

Required Skills

• Jenkins – Hands-on experience building or modifying CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting build or deployment issues.
• Terraform – Experience provisioning AWS infrastructure, with understanding of modules, state management, and pipeline-driven deployments.
• Docker – Ability to create Dockerfiles and containerize applications using Java, Python, and ReactJS.
• Kubernetes – Understanding of Kubernetes objects and experience deploying and debugging applications on Amazon EKS.
• Java and Python – Ability to write and maintain backend code, debug application issues, and integrate with REST APIs.
• Unix/Linux – Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and command-line usage.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts including compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Academic, internship, or personal projects involving cloud, DevOps, automation, or backend systems.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Basic networking knowledge covering DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
